Jose P. Colomar (Piles, 1970), during the 14 years he has spent in the catering business in this establishment, has carried out all the business facets of the cateing trade.

For 10 years he carried out the task of waiter and "Jack of all trades" in this family business when it was both a restaurant and a hostel. It's former name being "Hostal Gloriamar".

From 1999 he was the head chef and now is the head of this restaurant and catering business.

Some of the qualities of his character can be seen in his huge capacity for work, his enormous enthusiasm, great expectations and excitement for the future and the creation of a phenomenal team of workers.

He has managed to transform a typical beach restaurant into a seafood restaurant innovated with new ideas. Using the very latest food and cooking technology, along with his own style and ideas, hes is able to offer you a culinary experience both different and attractive, as much in the splendid aperitifs that he serves, as in teh rice dishes and baking that he produces.

He received a prize, presented to his from fellow professionals, for the most innovated company in 2007 and recently has obtained both official and unofficial recognition for his labour.

2009 has started with a big smile:

Obtaining the prestigious "Q" quality certificate. The highest award in tourist quality bestowed upon him by the Spanish Institute of Tourism Quality.

The distinction fo becoming a "Bib Gourmand" restaurant in the prestigious Michelin Guide 2009, which recognises restaurants that offer high-quality products and services and good value for money.

The fact of being the first and only restaurant, at the moment, in the La Safor regio9n, to obtain bothe the "Q" and the "Bib Gourmand hasn't affected the splendid work of our "Chef".
